Welcome to the rural medieval church alongside the village green of Westerleigh.

The congregation invites you to come along at 10.30am on Sunday in a traditional Church of England service of Holy Communion or Morning Prayer. There is a baptism service once a month as well as weddings, funerals and special services in a friendly environment for people in the neighbourhood.

St James is one of four churches in the parish of Yate; we enjoy a regular rotation of interesting preachers and clerical leaders. The church is open every day from 10am to 4pm and forms an important part of the social life of the village.

If you visit St James, we will try hard to make you feel welcome and invite you to join us over a cup of coffee at the end of a service or else to our well-attended coffee morning on Wednesday at 10am.
